On June 6th, Winding Stair Gardens is hosting the second annual Shade Your Stream Symposium, a full day of expert-led sessions on stream restoration, native riparian planting, and watershed health in Western North Carolina.
If you own land with a creek, a wet area, or a slope that loses ground every time it rains, this is the most useful day you will spend all summer.
Experts speakers with deep regional roots and real field experience will cover everything from aquatic ecology to hands-on restoration techniques to the exact native plants that hold streambanks together in our corner of the Appalachians. Admission is free!
