  • Compost Happens!

Winding Stair Gardens 57 Saunders Rd., Franklin, NC, United States

Your holiday leftovers deserve a better fate than a landfill. At Compost Happens!, horticulturist Adam Bigelow shows you how to turn kitchen scraps and fall leaves into dark, crumbly compost your garden will crave come spring. This hands-on composting workshop covers four methods: traditional piles, tumblers, worm bins, and Bokashi fermentation. You’ll learn what goes in, what stays out, and how to fix soggy, stalled, or smelly piles. Join us Saturday, November 7 at 10 AM. Choose-your-price tickets run $5 to $30, so every gardener and every budget has a place at the pile.
