Earning Rewards
What is Redbud Rewards?
This is Winding Stair’s loyalty program, designed as a thank you for shopping with us by earning 5% back in rewards on select regular-priced retail purchases. Rewards accumulate automatically and can be redeemed once they reach $5 or more. You may redeem your Redbud Rewards in multiples of $5.
How do I earn rewards?
Members earn 5% back on qualifying in-store retail purchases. Rewards are calculated on the pre-tax amount and are added automatically to your account when you shop.
What purchases qualify for rewards?
Rewards typically apply to regular-priced retail items, including:
- Annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees
- Houseplants
- Pottery, containers, and garden décor
- Garden tools, accessories, and supplies
- Bagged soils, fertilizers, and mulches (non-sale items)
- Gifts, birding, and seasonal décor (regular price)
Eligible items may vary by season.
What purchases do not earn rewards?
Rewards are not earned on:
- Gift cards
- Consultation services
- Delivery services
- Special-order plants or materials
- Workshops, classes, or events
- Taxes and fees
Redeeming Redbud Rewards
How do I redeem my rewards?
Once your Redbud Rewards balance reaches $5 or more, they’re ready to redeem! Redemptions are made in $5 increments — so if your balance is $6.90, you can redeem one $5 increment, and the remainder stays in your account until it reaches the next $5 mark. Multiple $5 increments can be combined and redeemed together toward a single purchase.
Can I redeem part of my rewards?
Redemption is only in $5 increments. You may apply all, or a portion, of your Redbud Rewards toward any qualifying purchase in $5 increments ($5, $10, $15, etc.).
Do rewards expire?
Rewards expire 24 months after being issued.
Can rewards be used on landscaping or special orders?
No. Rewards are valid for in-store retail purchases only and cannot be applied to landscaping projects, design services, or special orders.
Can rewards be redeemed for cash or gift cards?
No. Loyalty Rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase gift cards.
What happens if I return an item that contributed to my rewards?
If you return an item purchased using Redbud Rewards, the reward amount used will be credited back to your account balance.
What happens if I return an item that I purchased with my rewards?
If an item that used the rewards as part of the payment is returned, the reward points will be returned to your account, if you decide not to purchase another item at that point.

Is there a cost to join?
No. Membership for Redbud Rewards is free and requires a telephone number or email address.
How do I sign up?
Can I share my Redbud Rewards account?
The Redbud Rewards program is intended for personal, household use. Accounts may not be shared across unrelated individuals or businesses.
Can program rules change?
Yes. Winding Stair Gardens reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Redbud Rewards program, eligible items, or reward structure at any time.
