Few things announce the holidays like the scent of fresh Fraser Fir greeting you at the front door. This December, you can create your own wreath, made entirely by your own hand, from the first sprig to the final bow. For years, this has been one of our most popular classes!
You’ll start with a full, pre-made 20″ Fraser Fir wreath, the classic evergreen of the Southern Appalachian high country, which fills out to a finished size of 32 to 36 inches. From there, the design is all yours. Choose from a generous spread of natural adornments to layer in texture and color, then tie it all together with a decorative bow you make with your own hands.
Have a family ornament, a sprig from your own backyard, or a ribbon with a story behind it? Bring it along and work it into your design for a wreath that feels like home. Maria and the team will be by your side with tips, ideas, and plenty of inspiration as your wreath takes shape.
Sip hot chocolate and nibble on holiday cookies as you work! Rain, shine, or snow, we have both indoor and outdoor spaces, so the class goes on despite whatever our mountain weather brings.
Your $95 covers the Fraser Fir wreath, decorating materials, bow supplies, and holiday treats.
Our own team member Maria and her merry band of helpers will lead this class. You’ll leave with a beautiful wreath that speaks to you in a way no other holiday decoration ever could.
